I'm happy to speak to groups of both children (preferably Year 3 and above) and adults in schools and colleges; in libraries and bookgroups and also at festivals. The best way to ask if I'm free to do this and also to talk about fees is to email me at adele@adelegeras.com I don't like doing more than 2 one-hour sessions per visit. As well as my fee, I charge VAT and travel expenses, which are usually a return train fare from Cambridge plus two taxi fares as I don't drive. My talks are generally about my own work but I also speak about children's literature in general and also about crossover novels and women's fiction. I am more than happy to do readings and Q & A sessions. I also on occasion do creative writing workshops with both children and adults.
